I woke up early in the morning to the sound of my neighbour playing the piano.
It was a most pleasant, soothing tune and I thought that I was in a dream.....
I might not know how to play a piano but I have always love the sound of a piano and the way it looks. The most amazing thing? All this created by a single individual !
I remember there was this particular musical piece that was always stuck in my head. It was composed by Erik Satie titled "Gymnopédie No.1". It makes me think of certain events in my life, leaving a lingering bittersweet aftertaste whenever I listen to this.....

Top 10 bags I would like to own
Basically when choosing a bag, it has to fit certain criteria for me:
1. Roomy
I like big bags !! I need to bring my schedule book along, umbrella, water bottle, my wallet, card holder and other nitty-gritty stuff.
2. Base
I like bags with a hard base as it gives them structure and shape. I dislike bags with a saggy base. It just look weird.
3. Colours
Ok… I can’t take any pale colours such as white, beige etc. It is a no no for me as I want something that is easy to maintain and doesn’t get dirty easily plus I am so clumsy!! So the colours of my bag are limited to black, brown, grey, dark purple etc.
Anyway I bet lots of gals have a list at the back of their mind. For me, I just got started !! Here it goes....
1. Chanel Small Shopping Bag
Chanel bags are iconic and BEAUTIFUL but they are so ridiculously overpriced.
2. Balenciaga Motorcycle Bag
Colours, colours and more colours, I adore how the designer is able to come up with such vibrate colours for a bag that can instantly brighten up an otherwise dull looking outfit!
3. Prada Nappa Bag
I have always associated Prada as a brand that is more suited for a more mature crowd ( not that I am getting any younger. Boo hoo! ) with its mostly black and simplistic design.
However... I love the Prada Nappa bag. It looks so soft…. So cushiony ! Easy to match and it look oh so classy. Definitely something that can last for a long time. It is quite a verstile bag as well since you can either carry it on your shoulder or you can sling it depending on your mood or outfit!
4. Marc Jacobs
Marc Jacobs is famous for coming up with quirky designs that either comes up looking great or it could just fall flat in the face. It seems no one is able to predict what they are going to come up next hence the demand for their bags. We all like a little surprises in our lives don't we?
Of course once in a while chic looking designs like the ones below are sold...
5. LV Damier Canvas Speedy 30
If it was good enough for Audrey Hepburn, it should be good enough for most of us! She was often photographed carrying her favorite Louis Vuitton Speedy. Lots of people would dissuade me from buying this bag as it might seem a little too common and you wouldn't have difficulty picking out someone who owns one. But I bet to differ because it has so many different size and design that there is bound to be a Speedy out there to suit every style. Its a classic !
6. Burberry Barbed Wire Checked Tote
I love this bag. It’s the ideal everyday carryall for me as I like to dump lots of stuff into my bag. Its practical whether I’m trekking through the city on a busy work day or just hanging out with friends on the weekend. It is so convenient !
7. LV Damier Neverfull
A weekend bag that is roomy, easy to maintain and the price is quite affordable as well ! I love the contrast of red that appears from the interior of the bag. The only downside? No zips and no hard base !
8. Jimmy Choo Ramona
I love the buckle and rings that are used to line the top of the bag. Makes it look so edgy for a weekend and it looks professional on a work day!!
9. Gucci "jolie" large tote
The red and green strips that runs along the side of the bag is one of the signature design of the Gucci bag. Of course some people would bet to differ as I used to be one of them! I guess the design has grown on me as time passes and I find it oddly appealing at the moment. Again this is a weekend baggy. Downside? No zips as well !! Why can’t they come up with a version that has zip for paranoid people like me who thinks there are lots of pick pocket in the world?
10. Miu Miu Nappa
A sister company of Prada, Miu Miu is able to come up with design that is able to appeal to the younger crowd and I am not surprise because it is a little less pricy then Prada as well =)
It so happens that this is the only tiny and dainty bag that has caught my eye. I like it because it actually looks quite feminine =) However I can't seem to locate a pic of a brown or black version of this design so the yellow one would have to do for now.
Of course that is not all. I'm not a pinkish person by nature but I actually like this shade of pink Miu Miu bag.....
This is in gun metal shade and it actually looks like something I would carry around with me !!
